23 - Data Support Officer
Profile description:
This role sits inside a master data modernisation programme and is responsible for making sure data is clean, well-mapped, and ready to migrate to a new platform. The person in this role works across data quality, data migration preparation, functional testing, and end-user training. It is a hands-on contributor role — not advisory — requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Developer profile:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
4 years of experience in a data management or data quality role
Solid working knowledge of data analysis tools: Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
Comfortable with SQL; Python or R is a plus
Strong communication skills — this role requires active collaboration with both technical teams and domain owners (logistics, medical, or similar)
Analytical mindset, independent problem-solver, detail-oriented
Experience in cross-functional teams
English required; French, Spanish, or Arabic is a significant asset
Domain knowledge in medical or logistical areas is a strong plus
Certifications in data analysis or project coordination are a plus
Technical requirements:
Data quality assessment and documentation — identify, document, and fix consistency issues
Data mapping — current-state to future-state across systems
Data migration preparation and execution — structured, methodical approach
Data dictionaries — review and complete documentation for existing and new systems
Functional and UAT preparation and execution
Training material development and delivery to end users
Proficiency in at least one of: Excel (advanced), Power BI, Tableau
SQL (required); Python or R (preferred)
PS: Candidates will be asked to walk through a real example of a data quality issue they identified and resolved, including the steps taken and tools used.
